Paul J. Slavin was 60 years old when he passed away suddenly Sunday, May 13th. Born in the Bronx, New York, he lived most of his life in New Milford and Bergenfield. Paul earned a Bachelors of Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He later went on to work in the metal industry selling various metals for many years. An avid outdoorsman, Paul loved fishing, camping, hiking, and especially gardening. He enjoyed growing things in his garden and giving them away to friends and neighbors. Paul was predeceased by his wife the late Eileen King and his father the late John Thomas Slavin. He is survived by his loving mother Marlene Slavin, his beloved sister Diane Richardson and her husband Steve, and his cherished niece Lauren Richardson and nephew Colin Richardson. Friends and relatives are invited to the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, New Milford, tomorrow (Wednesday) for visitation hours from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
