Marie (Mimi) Moreno, wife of the late Arturo Moreno, of Bergenfield, New Jersey, passed away on August 26, 2019 at the age of 94. She was born to the late Pierre and Anna (Nedellec) Galand in Châteauneuf-du-Faou, Brittany, France on January 16, 1925. She is survived by her daughter Anne Marie Price (Earl), their children Sam and Maggie, son David Moreno (Nancy), their children Alex (Chelsea), Eric and Joe. While her parents had moved to the US, she remained at school in France. After the war, she was then able to rejoin her parents. Mimi received her degree in French studies from NYU and enjoyed a career as an executive secretary at Air France. She met Arturo in Greenwich Village where they were married. Eventually they moved to Bergenfield NJ where she lived until her death. She was a loving, caring mother, wife and grandmother and will be dearly missed.
