Joseph Charles Sofia was 79 years old when he passed away Friday, March 30, 2018. Born in New York City, he was a resident of New Milford since 1976. Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Patricia l. Sofia, the loving father of a son Joseph Sofia and his wife Anna and a sonThomas Sofia, the dear brother of Joan Martini and Marion Dobkin, the devoted grandfather of Toniann, Joseph, and Matthew, and also survived by 5 great grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday evening from 6pm-8pm in the funeral home.
