Josefa Macalalag Obituary

Josefa G. Macalalag (nee Graxirena) was 81 years old when she passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 27th. Born and raised in Naranjito,Puerto Rico, Josefa later moved to Howard Beach, New York before settling in Emerson 12 years ago. She loved spending time with her friends at the Hackensack Senior Center where she was an active member for many years. Josefa was predeceased by her late husband Gerard and her sister Virginia, she is survived by her devoted daughter Geraldine Vargas and her husband Juan and her other daughter Genevieve Macalalag as well as her cherished grandchildren Alexa, Liam and Brooke. Funeral services were private.
