John Francis Kerbusch

John Francis Kerbusch, 66, of Teaneck passed away recently after a long illness. John was born in the Bronx and lived most of his life in Hudson and Bergen counties. Kind and gregarious, John loved his job as a telephone technician where dealing with his customers was a passion. An enthusiastic prog-rocker (though the Beatles' had his heart). John played in bands when "he wore a younger man's shoes". He was also an avid sports devotee who met his wife Andrea while bonding over their love of the Yankees (and fighting over every other team). John leaves behind his wife, Andrea, daughter Stacy (Joe) and beloved granddaughters, Samantha and Addyson. He is also survived by his sisters Patty and Gail and numerous nieces and nephews. Anyone who wishes to remember John may do so by supporting the Teterboro Animal Shelter or St. Jude's Children Hospital. Arrangements were private.
