Anthony R. De Dio

Anthony Richard De Dio of Little Ferry passed away in his home Thursday, September 20th  at the age of 94. Born in Syracuse, NY, Anthony was raised in West New York before moving to Little Ferry.  Anthony is the beloved husband of Theresa (nee Monchino) for 71 years. He is the loving father of Donna Tunis and Patricia De Dio and her husband Michael Kearns. Anthony was predeceased by his siblings; Mary De Pierro, Rose Spina, Sam De Dio, and Carmen De Dio. He is the cherished grandfather of Gina Ong and Jeffrey Scalzo and the devoted great grandfather of Sarah, Christopher and Sophia. A funeral mass will be celebrated in his memory on Monday at 10am in Saint Margaret’s of Cortona Church, Little Ferry. Burial will follow in Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Sunday 3pm-7pm.
