Albert A. Ginocchio, the patriarch of a 5 generation family, was 95 when he passed away Thursday, February 22nd. Albert was born and raised in Greenwich Village, New York City before settling in New Milford 44 years ago. He proudly served his country from 1943-1946 with the United States Army in World War II. Before retiring, Albert was a Platform Man for 45 years with The International Longshoremen’s Association Teamsters local #1730 and 707. He was predeceased by his late wife Laura (nee Montemora). Albert is survived by his loving daughter Barbara Santore and her husband Philip, a son William Ginocchio, a son Gary Ginocchio and his wife Jackie, and a daughter Joan Raiani and her husband Jerry. He was also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 10:15 in the Church of the Ascension, New Milford. Entombment to follow Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation Saturday 7-9pm and Sunday 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, New Milford.
