Aida Iris Rodriguez

Aida Iris Rodriguez passed away peacefully Saturday, October 12th. Born in Puerto Rico, Aida came to New York as a young girl. She lived in Manhattan most of her life before settling in New Milford in 1989. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Felipe Rodriguez in 1999. Aida was the loving mother of Frances Lopez and her husband Frank and Aida Orshowitz and her husband David. She was predeceased by many late brothers and sisters only to be survived by her brother Jose Miguel Soto. Aida was the cherished grandmother of Ashley, Dennis and his wife Marissa, Christopher and her late grandson Michael. She is also the devoted great grandmother of Jade, D.J., Isabella, Ariel and Justice. A funeral mass will be celebrated in her memory on Wednesday at 9:30am in the Church of the Ascension, New Milford. Burial will follow in St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx. The family and friends are invited to the funeral home for visiting hours on Tuesday from 5pm to 9pm.
