Yoshiko Kurihara

Beloved mother and grandmother, Yoshiko Kurihara left this world peacefully on December 3, 2022 at the age of 75. 

After 35 years of tireless work in the food service industry, she was able to retire and really enjoy life to the fullest, often with a glass of chardonnay in hand.  Yoshiko loved to spend time with her grandchildren and often created delicious meals for them.  She was also an active member of the Japanese American Association of New York, volunteering at various events, and enjoyed outings with great friends that she met there. She was fascinated with history and loved to have long discussions about historical events.

She is survived by her daughter, Sonya; her grandchildren, Kenichi and Seiji, her sister Setsuko and brother Takuo. 

A memorial service is scheduled for December 9, 2022 at Boulevard Funeral Home in New Milford, NJ from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, followed by funeral services at 10am on Saturday December 10, 2022.
