Juanita Soto Marino

Juanita Soto Marino loved her family, music, dancing, and her home.  She spent her retirement years gardening, shopping, and caring for her birds.  She was 87 years old when she passed away on February 18, 2023.  Juanita was proud to be a native of Puerto Rico.  She lived in New York, moved to New Jersey and spent over 50 years living in Bergen County. Before she retired, Juanita was a business owner and healthcare worker. Both of which she put her heart and soul into. Juanita was a member of the Society of Mary and former parishioner of Saint Joseph Church, Oradell, NJ.  She was a school volunteer and Boy Scout troop leader in the 1960’s and 70’s.

Juanita was predeceased by her first husband Ramon Soto. She is survived by her husband Martin Marino and her loving children Yvette Leger Reams (Wallace), Raymond Soto (Suzanne), Zoraida Krell (Brian), and Edwin Soto (Joy).  She is also survived by her stepchildren, Edward Marino (Jan), Carol Ann Marino (Jimmy), and Stephen Marino.  Juanita cherished her grandchildren, Elise, Jesse, Erin, Amanda, Jack, Austin, Samantha, and Jana.  She has five great grandchildren with one on the way.
